I am so excited to announce that we have been featured on Brides & Weddings Magazine for our tropical elopement styled wedding shoot! I wanted to put together a simplistic but still elaborate tropical elopement to show to future couples that it truly is possible to have a cute and beautiful wedding without going overboard.
Here is a direct link to our feature on Brides & Weddings Magazine and below is all the vendors that took part in this styled shoot and what they supplied!
Photography: Landrum Photography (Me!)
Venue: The Gulf Drive Cafe & Kokonut Hut, Bradenton Beach, Florida
Invitations/Calligraphy/Stationery: Elie Mae Ink
Invitation suites are so much fun to photograph and truly put a personal stamp on your wedding gallery. I always ask my wedding couples to send me their invitations to me prior to their wedding day so I can take photos of them prior and then the day of their wedding. This invitation suite was created Elie Mae Ink for this styled shoot and she did such a lovely job and really grapsed our theme. Make sure when you choose your suite that it reflects the theme of your wedding day - it truly gives it a personal touch and you could even frame a set after the wedding for memories!
Agate Slates: Pens & Peonies, Creative
I love, love these agate slates. They give a beautiful touch for the details and give another feel for them as well. There are many calligraphers that can create these gorgeous slates and I always reccomend going on Etsy. I am lucky enough to personally know this super talented calligrapher and she let me keep these from a past shoot so I take them with me to all my styled shoots and weddings.
Florals: Shy Chic Boutique
The florals that you see in the photos below are wood (yes, they are!). Shy Chic Boutique not only created these gorgeous floral arrangements but also the koozies and special drink sign - talk about a multi-talented gal!
Cake & Desserts: Sweets Bakehouse
There are no words to even describe how delicious this wedding cake was. The frosting was a light and smooth buttercream that forces you to lick your fingers (that also had a taste of lemon!) and the cake itself was a scrumptious, fluffy and moist red velvet cake. The macarons, cookies, and cupcakes were all so super adorable and give such a sweet touch for our dessert table - plus who doesn't love small desserts to add along with the wedding cake?
Wedding Dress Boutique: Proposal to Promise
I am very good friends with the owner of this boutique and when I messaged her one night asking if she had a dress for a tropical beach elopement that we could also trash in the ocean, she said "say no more" and the dress came in the mail a few days later. I have to say, if you know of anyone who's going to do a beach elopement (or beach wedding in general), I can't reccomend enough to either have your main dress or get a second dress to trash in the ocean. For one, it's SO much fun!! Second, you will have those photos for the rest of your life to cherish!
