If you are searching for a whimsical and fantasy venue for your small wedding/elopement in the state of Florida, look no further than Castle Ottis. Not only is the venue beautiful, but you are close by to so many other beautiful spots around St. Augustine.
Castle Ottis is one of those venues that brings you so much beautiful and natural dramatic lighting. There was just no need for anything extra. Raw and in the moment - that’s how I love to photograph.
Ashley and Carlos stayed in the little cottage, on the grounds of Castle Ottis, the night before their wedding. They wanted to get ready together, but he wouldn’t see her in THE dress until ceremony.
When hair and makeup was all said and done, we walked up the path to Castle Ottis. Their loved ones were already present and waiting for their arrival. Ashley climbed a few flights of stairs to a landing where she could privately put her wedding dress on. I had a few minutes to snap some bridals as she started her descent for the start of the ceremony.
After ceremony (and family portraits), we had our run of Castle Ottis and it was time to have some extra fun. This venue is a big favorite of mine and I’m always so thankful to keep going back.
